Nice to see you here. Feel free to explore!

Hi, I’m Jakub Święcicki – you can just call me Kuba.

I am a Poland-based textile object designer, craftsman, and artist working at the intersection of contemporary art, design, and material-based practice. My practice combines manual and machine-based processes, including machine embroidery, sewing, tufting and macramé making. I use these techniques as tools for constructing form, meaning, and embodied experience. I am particularly interested in the haptic and social dimensions of textile objects, exploring their relationship to memory, place, and the human body. Through my work, I engage with ideas of sustainability, local material heritage, and inclusive design, emphasizing textiles as active, experiential objects rather than passive surfaces.
